Veronesi talked about his newly released novel ‘De Kolibrie’. Sandro Veronesi (1959) is one of the foremost Italian authors writing today. A recipient of the Premio Campiello and the Premio Strega, Italy’s biggest literary awards, his writings are internationally acclaimed and his work has been translated into dozens of languages. His novels The Force of the Past and Quiet Chaos became international bestsellers. In 2016, he won the Europese Literatuurprijs for his novel Terre Rare.
