From their home to yours. With ‘Flagey chez soi’ we want to continue to share the joy of music on our feeds during this uncertain time. We asked some musicians who are very close to us, to tell you how they are coping with this crisis and to record a piece of music for you. First in our Flagey chez soi series is top pianist Tamara Stefanovich. She sends you her greetings from Berlin while playing Ludwig van Beethoven's Bagatelle Op.119 No.3.

Why starting with a bagatelle? We usually associate the term with a trifle, with something of little value. But, don't we often say that it’s "the little things that make us happy"? Just think of the most famous bagatelle ever written: the "Für Elise" by Ludwig van Beethoven. Doesn't this one small piece mean more to many people than the greatest symphony? In this gem, Beethoven incorporates his whole being and shows us a glimpse of his troubled emotional life. In this way, a bagatelle becomes as powerful as a haiku and it becomes a source of inspiration for all of us through her intimacy and universality.
