Mexican Inspired Horchata Recipe [Dairy Free & Vegan] - I know this is not a traditional recipe, but it suits my need to omit the dairy (most traditional recipes call for evaporated milk and condensed milk). I love this because I still get that wonderful horchata flavor without the dairy and limited sugar. It's super satisfying and a perfect treat for the coming summer days. ***You Will Need***
- 1 Cup White Rice
- 5 Cups Water (reserve 3 cups)
- 1/2 Cup almonds
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/3 cup sugar
