God of War Revenge and Redemption is the song played in the God of War segment of Video Games Live. It is a special arrangement based on "The Great Sword Bridge of Athena" and "The Vengeful Spartan", both from the God of War 1 OST.

About the lyrics: I got them from the original orchestral score. These are exactly the words the singers say. Some words are in modern greeke (Thanatos=death, ekthikisi=revenge, litrosi=redemption). The other verses were taken from "Ode to Ares", one of the "Homeric Hymns", a collection of ancient greek poems.
