In this video I provide a comprehensive tutorial on all new features coming to the Leica SL2 with the new Firmware 3.0. With this upgrade, the Leica SL2 gets all features and video capabilities from the Leica SL2-S.

Additional comments:

In low light, the SL2-S will still be a bit superior based on larger pixel pitch but we basically get with Firmware 3.0 for the Leica SL2 a Leica SL2-S included for free.

What I would have loved to see in addition to all the new features are two more features which are not included yet:
- pixel binning on the SL2 for even better low light capabilities with lower resolution
- automatic perspective control like with have it in the Leica M10-R
