We analyse firmware 03.21.18 on the LG CX OLED TV, which adds a new [Fine Tune Dark Areas] setting to help mitigate brightened gamma in VRR mode.
We explain how the setting affects various content on the Xbox Series X, and also provide objective measurements of different values so you'll know how to adjust the setting. We also tested if the [Fine Tune Dark Areas] control can help with VRR flicker.
