Professor Rachel Cooper OBE is Professor of Design Management and Policy at the University of Lancaster, she is Chair of LICA and Director of ImaginationLancaster (a centre for research into products, places and systems for the future). She is also co-director of Highwire, Digital Economies Innovation Doctoral Training Centre, bringing together doctoral students from design, computing and management. Professor Cooper's research

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
