The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is carrying big searches in several states of the northern part of the country based on intel inputs on gangsters who have been booked under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. Details of the raids reveal that these raids have been conducted on gangsters on whom federal court agency registered separate FIRs. These gangsters were reportedly planning to carry out acts of terror. This is not the first time such raids are being carried out by NIA.
