'Who am I: Being Bri'esh' is a collaboration between photographer Mayur and fashion designer Sapna Patel, where they contribute towards showing their views of the British South Asian culture. A set which showed the lifestyle of British South Asians using props of South
Asian culture, mixed with the western fusion, it conducted a modern outlook to how South Asians would be viewed in this British society.
But what does 'Bri'esh' mean? For those that don't know, the word is made up of 2 words. The first 3 letters are made up of 'British' and the last 3 letters are made of the word 'Desh' which means country in Hindi. There is also a break in between the 3 letters to create the slang of us as British citizens.
