“God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble” James 4:6

We can be broken but not “contrite,” having serious heart issues but walking in pride and forsaking the humility that would empower us to find healing in Christ and in the community/family of believers.

Sometimes when we refuse to humble ourselves, or refuse to RECOGNIZE our brokenness, God will allow us to experience the consequences of our pride.

God resists the proud and we will find that He will break our pride in love and mercy so that we can be restored to Him.
