Reconstruction in Virtual Reality of the temple of Santa Cristina, in Paulilatino's territory, inner Sardinia. The structure, meant for the Water worship, is dated to the XI-XII century b.C., and consists in a well with monumental staircase in curved stones, overlooking on a room with seats for the officiants of the rite, timber roofed. The temple was surrounded by a walled tèmenos, and encircled by temporary houses for the pilgrims and sellers arranged around an open space for religious festivals and dances.
During the shift from pagan rites to early Christianism, the spot kept its religious status, becoming a Christian worship destination.
