I’ve noticed that people have a habit of raising the bar and putting a lot of pressure on themselves to perform their best.
The problem with continuously setting these high expectations is that eventually, we’re going to make mistakes.
And instead of embracing these moments as opportunities to grow, we beat ourselves up for being less than perfect.
That’s why it’s important that you can identify when you’re setting your expectations too high.
It allows you to take action quickly and avoid many of the consequences associated with setting exceedingly high expectations.
And to help you do that, I’m going to share some of my top signs of people who set their expectations too high.
These signs are easy to spot and will make it clear whether or not unrealistic expectations are the reason for your declining performance and well-being.
