We're at work at MasterHands this week as Antique Meat Cleaver Restoration and Awesome Handle.

Our goal: To repair a line that will not be used in the old and make it available again by making epoxy handles.

Antique Meat Cleaver Restoration and Awesome Handle Restoration Process;

We start the process by removing the epoxy stem part of the old line. After the Epoxy handle section is released, cleaning is carried out with the help of a wire brush to clean the rust in the iron part of the blade. In the next operation, the surface of the line is corrected with sanding and polishing is applied. After the appropriate epoxy mold is selected, the sap construction process is started and the process continues by cutting the epoxy stem in the middle. After the cutting process is finished, sanding is applied to ensure that the inner part of the epoxy stem is smooth and smooth and appropriate holes are thrown at them.

Now that the epoxy handle and line section have finished repairing, it's time to merge;

The iron part of the line is placed in the middle of the epoxy stem and the pin is crashed. Hand channels are created with sanding to keep the epoxy handle smoother by hand. The epoxy handle section made to the knife is applied to the polishing varnish process to look long-lasting and beautiful.

Now that the epoxy handle and the row section have finished merging, the sharpening phase of the line;

Double-sided mouth is opened on the blade with stone sandpaper for better cutting of the line. After the double-sided mouth opening process is finished, a thinner sanding ensures that the thick pieces of iron in the mouth of the knife are removed, and in the final stage, the sharpness is further increased by removing the fine iron powders from the mouth of the knife using oil stone.

Amacımız: Eski kullanılmayacak olan bir satırı onarmak ve epoxy sap yaparak tekrardan kullanılabilir hale getirmek.

Eski satırın epoxy sap bölümünü çıkartarak işleme başlıyoruz. Epoxy sap bölümü çıktıktan sonra, bıçağın demir bölümündeki pası temizlemek için tel fırça yardımıyla temizleme işlemi yapılır. Sonraki işlemde satırın yüzeyi zımpara ile düzeltilir ve parlatma işlemi uygulanır. Uygun epoxy kalıp seçildikten sonra sap yapım işlemine başlanır ve epoxy sap ortadan kesilerek işlem süreci devam eder. Kesilme işlemi bittikten sonra epoxy sapın iç bölümünün düzgün ve pürüzsüz olması için zımpara işlemi uygulanır ve üzerlerine uygun delikler atılır.

Artık epoxy sap ve satır bölümünün onarımı bittiğine göre birleştirme zamanı;

Satırın demir bölümü epoxy sapın ortasına yerleştirilir ve pim çakılma işlemi yapılır. Epoxy sapın elle daha düzgün tutulması için zımpara yadımı ile el kanalları oluşturulur. Bıçağa yapılan epoxy sap bölümünün uzun ömürlü ve ve güzel gözükmesi için parlatıcı vernik işlemi uygulanır.

Artık epoxy sapın ve satır bölümünün birleştirme işlemi bittiğine göre satırın keskinleştirme aşaması;

Satırın daha iyi kesmesi için taş zımpara ile bıçağa çift taraflı ağız açılır. Çift taraflı ağız açma işlemi bittikten sonra daha ince bir zımpara ile bıçağın ağzındaki kalın demir parçalarının alınması sağlanır ve son aşamada yağ taşı kullanılarak bıçağın ağzındaki ince demir tozları alınarak keskinliği daha da artırılır.
