Grimlock is the leader of team dinobots. He first appeared in G1 Transformers cartoon series from the 1980s , and continue to appear in many Transformers media until presently. He turns into a T-rex (or what perceived to be a T-rex in the 1980s).

Not long after I published LEGO Snarl the dinobot stegosaurus tutorial, I yet again received requests to build Grimlock. Well, actually .... Grimlock was part of my plan long before I even thought of Snarl. It's just a matter of priority.

LEGO Creator: 31121 Crocodile is one of the better sets to build Transformers from, and so... I shouldn't hesitate long to keep reusing this set within a short span of time for such purpose.
