This was a surprise checking conducted by the Safety Department of Indian Railway. The purpose was to check the alertness of the Loco Pilot. The Loco Pilot was not informed about this ambush checking previously. The officials found that the Loco Pilot was alert as well as vigilant. The level of alertness shown by this Loco Pilot keeps the faith and trust intact in thousands of passengers.
