Even thought I replace the old thermal compound the video card was reaching astronomical temperature like 90c.

You can see for your self that under load it still gets hot.
Despite the temperature the GTX 480 its still an awesome video card to have in 2015.
It supports direct X 12 that will let you play games like fallout 4 and other new games that comes out.
The support of Direct X 12 will start to become more and more relevant to the video on the market and if the video card doesn't support direct X 12, it will lose its value.
