WATERMELON SMOOTHIE BOWL RECIPE!
I've been working on getting a super thick watermelon smoothie bowl for a couple weeks now! First I tried just plain watermelon smoothie... it was not smooth at all! But a good option for a refreshing poolside treat.
Next, I tried a watermelon smoothie bowl with pineapple, thinking it would get creamier with the second fruit added... it was delicious but again like a watermelon sorbet.
This time, I used watermelon and strawberries and the texture was just perfect!
Watermelon is one of my favorite summer time fruits to eat! It is really good for you, and keeps you hydrated on hot summer days. And a fun fact about watermelon-- it has an antioxidant called lycopene, which can protect your skin against UVA and UVB sun damage!
And for my friends trying to lose weight-- watermelon smoothies are excellent for weight loss! Watermelon is gut healthy, hydrating, and great for you.

WATERMELON SMOOTHIE RECIPE :
Ingredients:
2 cups frozen watermelon
2 cups frozen strawberries
1/4 cup plain kefir
HOW TO MAKE A WATERMELON SMOOTHIE BOWL THICK
Add all smoothie bowl ingredients to your blender. Keep blending until it is smooth and creamy. Depending on how strong your blender is, this could take some time. Don't be tempted to add more liquid, this will make your smoothie bowl watery. Just keep blending & scraping down the sides till it is totally smooth!
