I ran the cable and mounted the power supply for our starlink gear. I also relocated our parsec Rottweiler omnidirectional antenna that lives under our roof vent along with the power/data cable for starlink. The install was pretty straight forward since I had enough room for mounting and a short path from the roof to the cabinet. The parsec antenna relocation ended up taking more time than the starlink cable. I relocated it to improve the airflow needed to cool our AC unit in the summer. Unfortunately I won’t have any driving-around performance data until our next trip. Elon only allows you to “pause” your service in one month increments so it would have cost me $135 just to turn it on for the test. We will pause our gen1 home starlink and activate our gen2 in-motion starlink on the next trip and get some performance data.
