Kheer :
Ingredient:
2 cup milk
1 Tbsp rice
3 Tsp sugar ( add more as per your taste )
Method:
1) Heat Milk in a pan on high flame.
2) Add rice to milk and let it cook on low flame.
3) Keep stirring after every 2-3 minutes.
4) After 10 minutes when kheer starts to thicken add sugar and mix. Let it cook for another 5 min then turn off the gas.
Matar Paneer:
Ingredients:
1 cup diced paneer ( or as many as you want :D)
2 Tsp ghee
2 Medium sized Tomato
1 Onion
4 garlic cloves
10 Cashew nuts
1 Tsp Zeera
1/2 tsp Black pepper corns
2 Cloves
2 Cardamom
1 Cinnamon stick
1 Red chilli
1 Black cardamom
1/2 tsp Turmeric
1/2 tsp Red chilli powder( if using Kashmiri mirch add 1 tsp)
1 Tsp Coriander powder
1/2 tsp Kasuri methi
Salt as per taste
Coriander for garnishing
Method:
1) In a cooker add 1 tsp ghee, zeera, cloves, pepper corn, red chili, cinnamon stick, both types of cardamom.
2) Once the garam masala splatter add roughly chopped tomato, onion, garlic and cashew nuts.
3) Give a light stir then add 2 Tbsp water.
4) Add Turmeric, coriander powder, chills powder on top of onion and tomato. Do not mix. just close the lid.
5) On high flame, cook for 2 whistles and immediately turn off the gas.
6) Once the pressure settles take out the ingredients from cooker in to a mixer pot. Let it cool.
7) Take out all the garam masala from the onion tomato mixture before grinding.
8) Grind onion tomato mixture into a smooth paste.
9) In a pan add 1 tsp ghee. Add peas. cook until peas start turning golden.
10) Add the blended paste. Add salt. Cook for 2 minutes.
11) Add Kasuri methi and paneer and mix everything well.
12) Cook for another 1 minute and then garnish with coriander.
Masala Carrot Gobhi:
Ingredients:
1 Tsp oil
1 cup cauliflower
1/2 cup diced carrots
1/2 tsp Turmeric
1/2 tsp Coriander powder
1/2 tsp Chilli powder
1 Tsp Zeera
1/2 medium onion
2 Tbsp Maggi Mediterranean Masala
Salt as per taste
Coriander for garnishing
Method:
1) In a pan add oil. Once the oil is hot add zeera.
2) Add onion and cook until it turns pink and softened in texture.
3) Now add all the masala and cook for 1 minute.
4) Add carrot and mix well with masala. Cover it and cook for 2 minutes.
5) Now add cauliflower and mix it well and again cover for 3-4 minutes and let it cook on low flame.
6) Check gobhi again. Give it a stir.
7) Add Maggi Mediterranean Masala and mix well.
8) Cook for another 2 minutes and turn off the gas.
9) Garnish with coriander
Dal
Ingredients:
1/2 cup toor dal
1 Tsp Ghee ( Add more if you like )
3/4 garlic cloves chopped
2 Red chilli
1/4 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup chopped tomatos
1-1/2 cup water
1 Tsp turmeric powder
1 Tsp Salt
Method:
1) Add ghee to cooker.
2) Add Garlic and red chilli. Once they turn little golden-ish add onions.
3) Once onion turn pink add tomato. Cook for 2 minutes.
4) Add toor dal. Add 1-1/2 cup water, turmeric and salt.
5) Mix everything well and put on the cooker lid.
6) On high flame take 1 whistle, then lower the flame to low flame and take 2 whistles. Then turn off the gas.
7) Open the cooker once pressure settles.
8) Add water as per your requirement. Heat for 2 minutes and then add coriander.
Gujarati Kadhi Recipe : [ Ссылка ]
Rice
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup rice
Salt as per taste
2 cup water
Method:
1) Add all ingredients in a pan.
2) On high flame let the rice cook until you see the water has reached the rice level.
3) Lower the flame and cover the rice.
4) Cook until rice is done.
