This interview took place at the Gender and Climate Change: Women, Research and Action Conference at the Monash Centre, Prato, Italy (September 15-16, 2011)
During the conference we conducted short interviews with many of the participants. The participants were asked to respond to the following questions:
1. Why do we need to be attentive to gender when thinking about climate change?
2. How does your work (academic, policy-based, or activism) address the issues raised by gendered vulnerability to climate change, within our interdisciplinary discussion?
3. What steps should be taken to address the the issues raised by gender and climate change (immediately, long term)?
