I purchased a couple of affordable down sleeping bags to test and try out for things like having an emergency bag in the back of the car or giving one to my lil helper or things like that.
Before going outdoors, it’s always good to test out gear before needing to rely on it to save your life. I evaluated the heat retention of these bags in 30 degree Fahrenheit weather on a windy day outside on an uninsulated cot, while wearing shorts, to comfort test these in cold conditions.
