I answer the question - Does pre seasoned cast iron stick. I received some Lodge cast iron skillets and a dutch oven for Mother’s Day. And, I decided to see if it I can use it for the first time without food sticking, even if I don’t season it first.
Previously, I bought a Lodge cast iron griddle that was already seasoned. However I didn’t trust the pre-seasoned cast iron so I seasoned it myself before it’s initial use.
But this time around I decided to take Lodge at their word and try cooking eggs in a cast iron skillet without them sticking.
