Livelihoods of most women traders were affected when the borders were closed abruptly. EASSI is helping them form trading cooperatives by clustering the traders according to what they trade in (Fish cluster, Produce Cluster, etc). The clusters will be registered as legal entities as cooperatives, they will be able to access funding, access markets easily and trade in bulk.
EASSI will organise them, have them registered, facilitate their growth, connecting them to the different borders - markets to be able to exprt their goods without physically going with their goods.
