Nara and Narayana are happily running for the first time in their lives at their new home, ISCOWP sanctuary. They were each living in a small pen waiting to go to the slaughterhouse when ISCOWP members rescued them. They are Milking Shorthorn, a breed recommended for ox training as they are mellow in nature, heat tolerant and do not grow as large as our Brown Swiss.
