Kate Strong was born in Wales and lived and worked in Italy - in both fashion and engineering - before 'coming out' as an entrepreneur. She relocated to Sydney, Australia, and currently lives in the Blue Mountains, where she runs a successful business. Kate's talk attempts to contextualize all of this, arguing that you may indeed be able to do what you want, and get away with it.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
