Replacing a flat battery on a VW T5 Transporter (Camper) Van; including an upgrade from a ‘096’ sized battery to a larger ‘019’ battery giving 100 Amp Hours.
This video was filmed in April 2020 during the Coronavirus Travel Restrictions and Social Isolating. It features a next day ‘home delivery’ battery and was intended to help anyone whose battery had gone flat due to inactivity during the travel restrictions. The detailed step-by-step instructions are intended to help anyone with no previous experience evaluate whether this is a task they could undertake safely themselves (during a period when we are all trying to save money) - in the spirit of ‘Community Resilience’ through shared knowledge.
