The results of the SAF Best Unit Competition are out!
The 1st Commando Battalion takes the Best Combat Unit award once again. This takes their tally to an unprecedented 37 wins since the very first competition was introduced in 1969. Masters of Stealth, the elite Commandos carry out raid missions and operate deep within enemy territory.
RSS Valiant is this year’s Best Fleet Unit. She is one of six missile corvettes that form the backbone of the Republic of Singapore Navy's strike capability, protecting Singapore waters and her sea lines of communication.
143 Squadron is this year’s Best Fighter Squadron. The squadron operates the F-16C/D multi-role fighter aircraft, which conducts a wide spectrum of missions to keep our skies safe, 24/7.
