Frankie Gaffney grew up in Dublin's North Inner-City. His first novel, Dublin Seven, was published to critical acclaim (and controversy) last year. He is currently undertaking research at Trinity College Dublin, analysing literature using linguistics, and trying to beat his addiction (to journalism).
