You wanted to know how your baby’s development is going to be affected since they were born at 36 weeks gestation and that is considered premature. The definition of full term is 37 and 0 weeks. And so if anything before that is premature, anything after that is full term. Your baby was very near term and so the long term affects are going to be minimal. But ultimately I suggest talking with doctor and based on their knowledge of your baby’s circumstances they'll be able to give you tailored information and advice about what to expect and what to look for in your baby.
