In this HubSpot tutorial, we will walk you through how-to create and manage blog authors in HubSpot.

In HubSpot, you can create Blog authors from the Authors dashboard or in the Settings tab of an individual blog post. Once created, authors can be edited or deleted at any time.

Steps to follow:

1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing, hover over to the Website, and click Blog.

2. In the left sidebar menu, click Authors.

3. On the author dashboard, click Add new author.

4. In the right panel, enter your new author information like Public Name, Internal Name, Author slug.

5. You can leave the fields empty, which is optional.

6. Once done, Click Create Author

7. This author will now be available to add to posts in any HubSpot-hosted blog.

8. To Edit a blog author's profile.

9. Hover over an author and click Edit full profile.

10. Enter the author's profile information, then click Update blog author to make the changes live.

11. To Add a blog author to a post, navigate to Marketing, hover over to the Website, and click Blog.

12. Hover over a blog post and click Edit.

13. In the content editor, click the Settings tab.

14. Click the Author dropdown menu, select an existing author or click Create a new Author.

15. To Delete a blog Author in the left sidebar menu, click the exit.

16. In the left sidebar menu, click Authors.

17. On the author dashboard, hover over the author, then click the More dropdown menu and select Delete.

18. Type delete to confirm you want to delete this author.
Click Delete author
