In the second season of the hit WB series 'Smallville', Chloe Sullivan's (Allison Mack) friendship with Clark (Tom Welling) was pushed to its limits as she struggled with her true feelings towards him. In revealing how she felt as Clark seemingly faced his deathbed, Clark responded with one word: "Lana" (Kristin Kreuk). This season, Chloe develops a growing and sincere relationship with Lana, whilst trying to hold onto the threads of her oldest, dearest friendship with Clark.
