Very light portable manual typewriter made by Smith-Corona.
The machine is in good working condition. The ribbon is ok after adding some ink. This may have been sold as a student typewriter, or for someone needing the most compact and lightweight typewriter. Not for office use.
The typeface is standard with size 12 characters per inch.
Takes a smaller than standard ribbon spool, regular spools will not fit.
The overall quality is adequate and feels to have been made to the lowest cost possible for a useful machine. The cosmetic appearance is very good, little sign of wear or abuse, with a pleasing color.
Found at a local thrift store.
