Are you looking for an easy weeknight dinner? I promise these cheesy stuffed shells are filled with flavor and perfect for dinner.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
20 jumbo pasta shells
16 oz ricotta cheese
1 jar marinara sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt/pepper
1- 2 cups for the top of the cheese shells
Cheese Mixture:
16 oz ricotta cheese
1/2 cup shredded parmesan
1 cup shredded mozzarella
1 egg
sprinkle of salt 1/4 tsp
Steps:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine ricotta cheese, 1/2 shredded parmesan, 1 cup mozzarella, egg, and salt. Stir until evenly combined.
Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add jumbo shells and allow to boil approximately 8 min. Drain and set a side for later.
Brown ground beef in a large pot and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Drain the grease from the ground beef. Then add jar of marinara sauce and simmer together for about 3 min.
Apply a thin layer of meat sauce to the bottom of 9x13 baking dish. Add a spoonful of cheese mixture to each shell and place in the backing dish.
Cover all the stuffed shells with the remaining mean sauce and sprinkle the top with mozzarella cheese & parmesan.
Bake for 35-40 until hot & bubbly.
