This is the Litany (also known as Qatholiki കസോലിക്കി ) hymn for the Holy Qurbana on the Sunday after the Christmas. The Litany (Qatholiki) is chanted during the time of Fraction in the Holy Qurbana (വി.കുർബാനയിൽ ഖണ്ഡിപ്പിന്റെ സമയത്തുപയോഗികവുന്ന ഗീതം).

Fraction is the portion of the Holy Qurbana, when the priest breaks the bread ritually symbolizing the redemptive passion of our Lord. At that time the Madbha (sanctuary) is veiled as a reminder of the time of the redemptive passion, death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord, when the earth was engulfed in darkness.
