Grammy Winner Kelly Clarkson hits the stage for to pay homage to Patti Page and Carole King! Hey guys and welcome back to ClevverMusic, your source for all things Grammys! So not only did Kelly Clarkson take home the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal album for her hit, "Stronger," --- but the 30-year-old also hit center stage in a modest black dress to perform a medley of songs inspired by Patti and Carole.
Accompanied by only a guitarist and pianist on a platform in the center of the theater, Clarkson kicked off the tribute with a heartfelt rendition of Patti Page's "Tennesee Waltz," which she then slowly transitioned to the Carole King classic, "Natural Woman."
And I think it's safe to say that Kelly Clarkson is probably one of the only singers out there that could do both songs such justice. And did we mention just the day before, Kelly performed in New Orleans for Mardi Gras --- and she served as the Grand Marshal of!? Talk about a busy week!
