United Nations Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights Nada al-Nashif urged Belarus to end the systematic repression of perceived critics and immediately release all detainees held on political grounds.
She presented a new report from the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, which concludes gross violations are being committed across the country, to the Human Rights Council on 22 March 2023 during the Council's 52nd session.
