Conversion of your credits units to ECTS is required when you are applying for graduate programs in European Universities, and your first degree was obtained from a university outside Europe.

In this video, I demonstrated how you can calculate the equivalent ECTS of your credits from your first degree. You can also use the German Grade Calculator on this website for the conversion.
