Big thanks to Thor Oliversen for making this sweet demo of Lucid Steel String Singer amplifier.
This is new slightly changed version. It is 60W on 2 KT88 tubes with VVR (Variable voltage regulator).
It sounds a bit bigger and fatter than the previous one i made. But judge by yourself.
I hope you enjoy it as much as i do.
4 guitars were used in the demo to show how amp responds to different pickups.
*Gibson ES335 classic '57s pickups
*Stratocaster partscaster with John Suhr, Michael Landau classic pickups
*Fender Telecaster MIJ with stock pickups
*Gibson SG Standard with 490R/498T pickups
Only FX other than the tube driver is a small dash from my Strymon El Capistan tape echo.
Sound is recorded with one single Sure SM57 into a Presonus Bluetube preamp then Alesis IO26 and into Logic Pro X on my iMac.
Video is captured with two cameras. One Nikon D800 with a 16-35mm f4 and a Nikon 1 v3. Video edit done in Final Cut Pro.
