Oumbi the silverback from Twycross Zoo is getting in the mood and is chasing his mate Ozala the mother of their three sons.
Shufai, the youngest boy is hanging around when Oumbi suddenly comes tries to grab Ozala by jumping up and down. He gives up when Ozala climbs higher. A little later Oumbi sits by the window when Ozala got back down again. He turns around and charges towards her.
He got himself a stick while you'll see Ozala and Shufai in the background.
Just after the close-up shot, the silverback charges again. Ozala is screaming at him and giving him a look of discontent. She walks off and just checks that he isn’t following her. Biddy, Ozala’s mother is watching in the back from the platform. In the end, another charge at Ozala before he finally gives up - for now anyway.
