Just a quickly put together video for friends asking about what my coliving space in Tokyo is like.
I'm quite a private person, so share house-style living was never really my ideal living situation. However, it's nice that I can still have my privacy but also have a chat with someone when I'm feeling a bit lonely.
I use HafH (Home away from Home) for living (and often for travel accommodation).
HafH is a Japanese company from Nagasaki that offers coliving and coworking spaces, as well as short term accommodation. HafH has properties all over Japan as well as overseas.
It's a subscription service. You pay a monthly fee which gives you access to their worldwide network of properties. I'm on the HafH Coliving plan, so my monthly subscription fee is basically my rent, just with the added bonus of 10 nights free accommodation each month that I can use anywhere in the HafH Network.
If you travel a lot, are a digital nomad or remote worker, need long term accommodation, or want just like a weekend getaway once in a while, check out HafH.com
There's a plan to suit everyone. : )
The website is in English & Japanese!
