Sometimes when you're fostering, everything seems to be going so smooth. Kittens are healthy and adorable, and it's just a matter of time before they are big enough to fixed and go on to their forever homes.

And then you find out they have....ringworm.

Yep, my four baby girls were just about to get spayed and were already adopted (two even going to the same home!), but once their bellies were shaved for surgery, the vet noticed a couple of teeny spots of ringworm. This is easily treated and not a danger to the kittens, but it means their new families will have to wait a few more weeks until they can take them home. BUMMER!

But even here in hot Florida, the holiday spirit is in the (humid) air. My mother-in-law has FIVE Christmas trees up in her house, and every room is covered with lights, holly, and ornaments of every size and color. But her two very active and naughty cats, Orange Blossom and Kaley, are just itching to create a Xmas Hurricane out of all the sparkly, thinly stuff, so we're holding our breath to see if the decor will make it in time to greet Santa Claus.
