The world’s first malaria vaccine in childhood vaccination is being rolled out in 2019 in selected areas of Ghana, Malawi and Kenya, through a pilot programme supported by the World Health Organization. Vida tells the story of her baby Lordina, one of the first to get the vaccine, and how this additional prevention tool gives her “more peace of mind.”
