In this video I have recorded myself during the actual audio recording of the final bass track for composition "ENDLESS DAY" at my BASSLINE studio. That composition is one of two I placed on my bass parts for Dado Marinkovic's album "MY LIFE". After warming up with the first take, I've recorded audio and video for two additional bass takes. Dado and I were listening both of them and decided to pick a third one for the album. This is the one. Basic stereo track of the band that I was working with in this video wasn't complete. This was work in progress. Official video with audio master you can wach it here [ Ссылка ]
Dado Marinković is one of the most versatile and profound drummers not just in Croatia but in the whole Western Balkan region. Since 2013 we have worked several times on different music projects, including Chewbakka 4 - Smooth Criminals, and every time it was an amazing experience. It has been a privilege and honor for me to take part in his debut album. Check out Dado's Yout Tube channel [ Ссылка ]
For this particular recording session I have used:
🎸 Bass guitar - TOMISIC VS-1 5 string
🎛🎛 Audio interface - Audient iD14
⏩ Professional studio instrument cable - Sabadoš
🎵 Recording proces - Signal chain:
I have recorded bass track going directly to Audient iD14 sound card without any additional pre EQ and compression. I like iD14 AI due to great AD-DA Burr Brown converters and JFET D.I. input without latency issue. During recording I have listend to basic audio track and my bass guitar through ADAM A7X monitors. When I'm recording a bass track (if there is posibilty) I prefer using monitors not headphones.
