After installing a CAE Racing Ultra-Shifter earlier in the year, this customer wanted more from his 964 C2. The best way to improve the driving experience in many aspects is by installing an Individual Throttle Body Kit or ITB Kit. There are many kits on the market and after seeing some of the other kits on the market went for the UK designed and manufactured AT Power Throttle Body Conversion Kit.

OEM intake systems are generally designed to keep intake sounds to a minimum, meet emission requirements and hit 'a' performance requirement and not much more. ITBs improve performance by placing the atmospheric pressure closer to the cylinders which improves the throttle response as well as power and torque potential. The AT Power ITBs take this one step further with their 'shaftless' design which eliminates the conventional restriction inside the ITB intake path which is the throttle shaft, this results in even higher potential output.

At the same time as having the AT Power ITBs installed the Longman Racing ECU is installed and plugged into the original harness for the OEM features to still work but with more up-to-date control for the fuelling, ignition and many other maps inside the ECU for optimised horsepower, torque, driveability and safety.

Whilst AT Power take care of the top of the engine, at the bottom, Fabspeed Motorsport Headers are installed and complimented by a custom Alunox Inconel exhaust with centre-exit tips.

To put more of the power down to the ground, the Wavetrac LSD is installed which replaces the factory open differential. When one wheel slips, the factory differential sends all the power to this wheel, until traction is regained, frustratingly halting momentum. Whereas with the Wavetrac LSD power is sent to the wheel with the most grip and evenly across the axle, ensuring you are making the most out of the grip available for faster acceleration and cornering speeds.

Other upgrades installed include: Rennline billet top and bottom rocker covers, RSS engine mounts.
