Para Durumu: Boosting Turkey’s Financial Literacy with Özlem Denizmen Kocatepe


Özlem Denizmen Kocatepe has had big goals for herself ever since she was a teenager. Inspired but unsure how she could make her mark on the world, Kocatepe soon recognized an incredible need to develop financial literacy in Turkey. Many of us are lucky to have financial freedom, she says. In this video she tells us just what it would mean to give everyone that same opportunity.
Özlem Denizmen started her career at Merrill Lynch Investment Bank and has launched the “Para Durumu” financial literacy initiative in Turkey. She is currently president for strategy at Doğuş Holding and a board member of Doğuş Automotive.
