Platis Gialos is the best beach on Mykonos, located roughly 5 km southeast of Mykonos Town. Lively and beautiful with many excellent dining options, bars, and cafes, 2 mini-markets, jet skis and other water sports rentals, and several excellent hotels in the surrounding area. It’s an easy bus ride to and from Mykonos Town, plus it’s on the Mykonos water taxi route that shuttles visitors to other popular beaches including Ornos, Paraga, Paradise, Super Paradise, Argari and Elia Beaches.
