The broken window fallacy is an illustration popularized by Frederic Bastiat which highlights the importance of looking at the unseen effects of any economic event rather than just the seen. I also highlight the difference between supply side and demand side economics. Oh, and when I said the broken window fallacy is usually discussed in reference to Immanuel Kant, I actually meant John Maynard Keynes.
