Meath HSE Speech and Language Therapy Department present some ages and stages guidelines in relation to speech and language development.

Every child develops at their own pace. It can be hard, as parents, not to compare our child's rate of development with other children. What is most important though, is that we are aware of what is typically expected by certain ages so that we can access support if and when needed.
