We call it the "central point" of the tour. And for our German Alps motorcycle tour in Germany (duh😉) we chose Füssen, located in south-west Bavaria in the foothills of the Alps surrounded by mountains and lakes! It is at the end of the Romantische Strasse and right at the Deutsche Alpenstrasse, but also located on the ancient Roman Via Claudia Augusta, on the river Lech and right next to the border with Austria at a height of 800 metres / over 2.500 ft.
