White Cake Recipe Ingredients ►
8 oz unsalted butter (Room temperature)
14 oz sugar
6 large egg whites (fresh not boxed at room temperature)
14 oz AP flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp almond extract (use clear for a whiter cake)
1 tsp vanilla extract
10 oz milk (Room temperature)
2 oz vegetable oil
Easy Buttercream Ingredients ►
16 oz unsalted butter (room temperature. You can use salted butter but it will affect the taste and you need to leave out additional salt)
16 oz powdered sugar (sifted if not from a bag)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
4 oz pasteurized egg whites
1 TINY drop purple food coloring (optional) for whiter frosting
